CISPI—the Cast Iron Soil Pipe Institute—tasked us with promoting the value they bring to their audience of engineers, installers, educators and code officials. CISPI is the source of information, education, codes and best practices for using cast iron in drain, waste and vent (DWV) systems. To get that message out and educate this audience on the real value of American-made cast iron vs. foreign products or plastic alternatives, we turned to the one thing that never fails: we told the truth. Or, in our case, we told the Iron-Clad Truth.
